Dr. April Lindmeier, DHSc, is a Doctor of Health Science, integrative oncology researcher, patient advocate, healthcare executive, and Co-Founder of Cancer Expert MD. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, she brings together research, patient education, and evidence-informed integrative oncology to support a personalized approach to cancer care.
EDUCATION AND INTEGRATIVE ONCOLOGY TRAINING
Dr. Lindmeier received her Doctorate in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University, where she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
Her doctoral practicum focused on integrative oncology and the development of personalized health programs that combine conventional cancer care with evidence-informed complementary approaches.
Her work included areas such as nutrition, nutraceuticals, lifestyle strategies, repurposed pharmaceuticals, and individualized patient support. She began her work in integrative oncology during an internship with her mentor, Dr. Dean Silver, MD, MD (H), where she further developed her interest in personalized cancer care, molecular and genomic information, and the integration of conventional and supportive strategies.

Dr. April Lindmeier, DHSc, brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, medical sales, business development, physician education, and program development.
She has held executive and leadership roles with healthcare organizations in Illinois and Florida, where her responsibilities have included developing new healthcare programs, expanding physician and provider networks, building strategic partnerships, overseeing operations, hiring and training teams, and educating clinicians about advanced medical technologies and procedures.
Her experience allows her to bridge healthcare science, patient education, business strategy, and program development, with a strong emphasis on creating practical, patient-centered healthcare solutions.
CO-FOUNDER OF CANCER EXPERT MD
Dr. April Lindmeier, DHSc, is Co-Founder of Cancer Expert MD, where she helps develop educational resources focused on cancer biology, molecular and genomic testing, integrative oncology, nutrition, emerging research, and personalized cancer education.
Her role includes helping organize complex cancer information into a clearer format for patients and families and supporting the development of educational programs designed to improve understanding of personalized cancer care.
